The festival will be preceded by workshops in the open studio invited by WSK, will be held in 1335 in Manila Mabini, starting on October 30, 2014. The session will culminate in the creation of new collaborative projects in the form of audiovisual concert (November 7-9) and fairs interactive 3D mapping (November 8). WSK 2014 are also invited two musicians of Japan’s most innovative electronics has been passed in recent years: Yosi Horikawa and Daisuke Tanabe on November 7 at the Black Market, Pasong Tamo, Makati City. Together, they produce music and sound design experimental and genre-defying. They are joined by influential indie-electro duo Style Nonsense of Thailand, Canada Szkieve pioneering ambient musicians, and media arts practitioners Indonesia, Lifepatch which is represented by Adhari Donora and Budi Prakosa and media artist who is also a Visual Jockey Ricky Janitra of Jakarta.

This activity is also supported by local creative practitioners Philippines, such as the Children of Cathode Ray, one of the media arts collective in the 80s, in the performance of their first reunion since 2001; beatsmith and interdisciplinary artist and his collaborators Bent Caliph8 lynchpin; Cutting-edge electronic music pioneer in Manila Malek Lopez; along with several local musicians today: No Roma, Big Hat Gang, a similar object from the label Line Number Records, Joee & Tengal Drilon, Gentle Universe, and much more.

All musical performances will be accompanied by live visuals and projections of some of the best media artists working today in the United States, Manila, and Southeast Asia: Gene Kogan, a media artist based in New York, programmer, and the recipient of Fulbright; Media artist Ricky Janitra and community-tech art-hacker Lifepatch of Indonesia; along with several live veejays, motion graphic artists, and visual label in Manila, as Unde, MVLTIVERSE, Edsel Abesames, and Clang Sison.
